As moms, we all have our reasons that we drink. Some are big. Some are small. Some are shrunken versions of ourselves with the balance and social skills we can only find at the bottom of a wine bottle. Yes, it’s true that I’m #rockingmotherhood most of the time, but sometimes at the end of the day, I just gotta have that glass of red zin.

Several weeks ago, I wrote a list of 13 reasons that Mommy Needs Wine. Now I’m back with 13 more, and I’ve printed them out and stuck them to some wine bottles.

 

  1. This is Mommy’s bottle.
  2. The last time I had a shower was when a good friend gave me this wine.
  3. First time baby slept through the night.
  4. I pushed a human being out of my body.
  5. Contents: Mommy’s Yelling Medicine.
  6. It’s going to be a long summer.
  7. Open in the event of a snow day emergency.
  8. The babysitter cancelled.
  9. I survived an epic toddler meltdown.
  10. This makes Paw Patrol a lot funnier.
  11. I pee my pants when I sneeze.
  12. Wine dulls all of your senses, including smell.
  13. Science Fair: PROJECT DUE TOMORROW.

        1. Oh yes! Especially once they’re in school and the homework starts! I always have the urge to play a drinking game where I have to drink each time I don’t understand my 2nd grader’s math homework. Of course, that may only make my math skills worse. Or will it? Hmmmmm…😂😂😂

        5. Well, if you didn’t have trouble in kindergarten, you’re already better off than me. lol! I’m almost ashamed to admit that I had to Google my oldest daughter’s kindergarten homework a couple times!
