Writer Nicole Roder lives in Bowie, Maryland with her husband, Matt, their children, Emma, Sophia, Raymond, and Gianni. And Lucy-their fiercely terrifying, 20-pound Boston Terrier who protects their home from some ubiquitous danger only she can see.
When she’s not busy composing her next great work of fiction, she’s wiping bottoms, dancing in her kitchen, singing in her minivan, building lego castles, wrapping feather boas around her neck, and driving all over God’s creation. AKA-mothering her children.

He he. Great page! I have a near 15 lb cat that spots danger only she can see as well. But she does nothing to protect us, she just stares at it until we’re so weirded out we have to leave the room 🙂

Ah kids and fiction… my combination also. So, where do you post your fiction, or do you post it?

Hey! Thanks for stopping by! I don’t post my fiction online. (I’ve only ever written novels.) But one of my books, Women Like Us, is in the ABNA quarterfinals right now. You can download the excerpt for free at: http://goo.gl/bPM7yJ if you’re interested.

I will definitely have a look… much respect for anyone who sits down and writes a novel.

Writer/mother.
There is no nobler “occupation” than that. And few that let you wear a feather boa 😉

LOL! Thanks! Yes, the feather boas are a definite perk of the job. 🙂
